Blue 42 Restaurant & Bar has been feeding Elmwood Park for years. The wings were always the thing people came back for, and the sauce list kept growing until it stopped fitting on a menu. So it got its own building.

Wingman opened at 188 Main Street in Lincoln Park as a counter service wing shop with one obsession: 95 sauces, dry rubs, combos and dessert wings, and a rule that you can split a box across up to five of them. Bone in, boneless or cauliflower, fried to order, crispy and not soggy.
It runs under its own roof and its own name. Same family, separate business, and a completely different room. If you know Blue 42 you will recognize the standards. If you do not, come for the wall.
BYOB
No liquor license, which means no markup on drinks. Bring whatever pairs with your heat level. A lager and an Atomic is a genuine strategy.
Counter service
Order at the counter or online, sit down or take it home. Pickup runs about fifteen minutes.
